Iñaki Aspiazu
Iñaki Aspiazu, a renowned Basque architect, was commissioned to design Bodegas Baigorri in Samaniego, Rioja Alavesa. One of the main objectives was to build a winery which respects the landscape and the environment.
Iñaki Aspiazu designed Bodegas Baigorri in such a way that visitors can visit the winery without getting in the way of the wine making process as he designed a majestic wine ramp which is enables all kinds of visitors to visit the winery. Bodegas Baigorri has a top quality restaurant which overlooks the barrel cellar.
