Bodegas Exeo has 4 very special vineyards which are carefully tended.

La Huerta: The vineyard is located in Labastida and is about 30 years old. It has clay soil and on a slope. The Cifras Tinto wine is usually made from this vineyard.

Andaverde: The vineyard is located on the banks of the river Ebro and is about 25 years old. It is south facing with clay soils which are perfect for growing Garnacha Blanca which is used to make the Cifras Blanco white wine.

Las Torcas: The vineyard is about 25 years old and has clay and limestone soils and is South-East facing. This allows an earlier ripening of the Tempranillo grapes which are then blended with 25% of Garnacha grapes from La Huerta which make the Letras Minúsculas wine.

Las Grieldas: The vineyard is 2.000 metres in size and is located in a small valley between Briñas and Labastida. It was planted 45 years ago and has a clay and limestone soil and is south facing. The best Tempranillo grapes are used for the Letras wine.

The winery is located in the old Jewish quarter of Labastida, Rioja Alavesa. It consists of 4 houses where the family live, the offices, a room to receive visitors and an open air patio where the wines are made. Underneath the house there are 4 caves from the 14th and 15th century. Bodegas Exeo´s caves are an excellent space to age the wines that are made by the family.
