Bodegas Sierra Cantabria
Founded by Mr. Guillermo Eguren in 1957, Bodegas Sierra Cantabria is the matrix Cellar of the Eguren group. The Cellars of the group reflect the evolution of the Eguren family into wine-makers and owners of wineries without their winemaking roots.
The Bodegas Sierra Cantabria vineyards are located in "Sonsierra", between San Vicente de la Sonsierra, Labastida and Laguardia. The "Sonsierra" is an area within the Upper Rioja located between the Ebro River and the Cantabria Mountains that project it from the northern winds providing good exposition to the sun. The vineyards are cared for under the premise of sustainable viticulture.
