Bodegas Tobelos
Bodegas Tobelos was founded at the end of the 20th century by Ricardo Reinoso. He started his own winery after having gained a deep understanding of the wine sector, and spending many years as Director of various wineries.
Bodegas Tobelos makes their wines from grapes from vineyards which are located in the Sonsierra foothills, close to the Cantabrian Mountains. They come from small, high altitude vineyards which are difficult to access.
Bodegas Tobelos uses traditional methods to look after their vineyards throughout the year. These practices include hand picking the grapes, using small crates for the harvest to select only the best bunches and a selection table when the grapes arrive in the Bodega.

Bodegas Tobelos is located in one of the most traditional wine growing areas, by the Ebro River, in the town of Briñas in Rioja Alta, close to the Cantabrian and Obarenes mountains. The location of the winery is the perfect place to admire the Conchas de Haro and the Riscos de Bilibio spiky mountains.
Bodegas Tobelos is built on the site of an ancient settlement which dates back to 900 years ago. The necropolis was found in the wineries own land.
